With Christmas just around the corner, Turin puts on its festive clothes starting with October 28th (more precisely, at 7 pm sharp), when the 2016 version of the now-famous Luci’Artista will be plugged in. This year the city celebrates the 19th anniversary of the event, gathering as always some of the most important contemporary artists and their light installations dedicated to Christmas and its connotations.
For those of you not familiar with the way i torinesi go nuts about Natale, well, my advice to you is to do some sightseeing at night, the city it’s just gorgeous, despite the cold.
WHERE: city center, in the main piazzas and on the main streets
WHEN: from October 28th to January 15th
HOM MUCH: unless you plan on going on a shopping spree in Via Lagrange, Via Garibaldi or Via Roma, admiring this year’s installations is for free, as always
