Fondazione Torino Musei participates this year, too, to the European Heritage Days (celebrated on September 24th and 25th) promoted by the European Council and the European Commission, and destined to encourage cultural exchanges between the European nations.
On the occasion, the Foundation offers two days of reduced entrance fees – ONLY €1/ticket on Saturday, September 24th and Sunday, September 25th – to all those interested in visiting:
• some of the most interesting permanent collections in town: Palazzo Madama, GAM (Galleria d’Arte Moderna – Gallery of Modern Art), MAO (Museo d’Arte Orientale – Museum of Oriental Art), Mole Antonelliana – Museo Nazionale del Cinema (National Museum of Cinema) and Borgo medievale;
• temporary exhibitions such as “Bodies” in progress at GAM and “Nothing is Real. When the Beatles met the East” in display at MAO.
Turin Planetarium will also take part to the European Heritage Days with free extended opening time for the Space Museum.
The other institutions adhering to the initiative will keep the usual opening hours from 11.00 to 19.00.
